Overview
Kedai is a digital storefront platform designed specifically for Indonesian micro-businesses (UMKM). Unlike big marketplaces, Kedai runs on a 0% commission model — every sale goes directly to the seller.
Problem
Indonesian small businesses often struggle with big marketplace commissions (10-20%) and complex onboarding. They need a simple sales channel without needing to be tech-savvy.
Solution
Built a lightweight PWA with WhatsApp checkout — buyers don't need an account. Data lives in Supabase (PostgreSQL), frontend on Vite, deployed to Cloudflare Pages for maximum speed.
